Mrs. Stella Urgonski: (South Bend Tribune 9/8/1979)

Mrs. Stella Urgonski, 83, died at 4:10 a.m. today in Healthwin Hospital where she lived during an extended illness. She was born on Oct. 3, 1895, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident. In 1920, in Terre Coupe, as Stella Wroblewski, she married Steve Urgonski, who died in December 1965. She is survived by two sons, William and Robert, both of South Bend; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Khrobut Kouch and Mrs. Josephine Kaminski, both of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Rev. Leonard Khrobut, president of St. Mary’s College in Orchard Lake, Mich., who was Mrs. Urgonski’s nephew, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was a member of the Rosary Society at St. Stanislaus.
