Edward J. Urgonski: (South Bend Tribune 3/11/1939)

NEW CARLISLE – Edward J. Urgonski, 66, of new Carlisle, died in the home of his sister, Mrs. Polly Stayback, at 5:40 p.m. Friday after an illness since August. He was born in Olive township Feb. 11, 1873, and had spent his life in this vicinity. He was employed as a railroad section worker. Mrs. Stayback is the only survivor. Friends may call at the Stayback home from Sunday noon until Monday morning, when the body will be moved to the Saugany church for funeral services at 9:30 a.m. Monday. Rev. Wencel A. Karp, of the St. John’s Cantius church, of Saugany, officiating. Burial in Saugany cemetery.
