Mrs. Steve Urbanski: (South Bend Tribune 5/14/1951)

Mrs. Jane Urbanski, 1817 Prairie avenue, died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph hospital after an illness of three months. Born in South Bend, Aug. 4, 1894, she lived here all her life. Surviving are her husband, Stephen; a daughter, Mrs. Adeline Kaniewski, South Bend; five sisters, Mrs. Agnes Reiter, Mrs. Catherine Nadolny, and Mrs. Lillian Ewald, all of South Bend; Mrs. Mary Lisek and Mrs. Myrtle Maciejewski, both of Crumstown, this county; two brothers, Joseph and Vincent Kowalewski, both of Crumstown, and a grandson. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today in St. Joseph funeral chapel. The funeral will be held Wednesday. The requiem mass will be chanted at 9 o’clock in St. Stephen’s Catholic church by Rev. Joseph Horvath, pastor. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish cemetery.
