Anthony H. Urban: (Michigan City News Dispatch 11/3/1947)

Funeral services for Anthony Herb Urban, 43, 1506 Portage, South Bend, who died Saturday will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the late home and at 9 a.m. in Holy Cross church, South Bend. Friends may call at the home. Mr. Urban died of injuries suffered in an auto accident near Elkhart on Sept. 14. He was born Oct. 16, 1904, in this city, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Urban, 1502 Kentucky. He was married in South Bend Jan. 21, 1939, to Irene Kretchmer, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Patty, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Schmidt, LaPorte; Mrs. Stanley Boyan, this city; two half sisters, Mrs. Raymond Losiniecki and Mrs. Gre Bogoslawski, this city; two step-sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Foldenauer, South Bend, and Mrs. Joseph Sobkowiak, this city; and a half-brother, Richard Urban, this city. His mother, Pauline Dobeski Urban, is deceased.
