Mrs. Lavina Unger, 87, formerly of 1801 Randolph St., died at 11:45 p.m. Friday in the Calvert Convalescent Home.  She was born Jan. 39, 1880 (typo in article, should read Jan. 29) in Carroll County and lived in South Bend since 1925, coming from Caroll County.  She was married Aug. 25, 1900, to Clifton G. Unger, who died in 1957.  Surviving are three sons, Clark, Fred, and Herman Unger, all of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Grace Huff of Edmonton, Alta., Canada; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.  Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Hollis Funeral Home, where services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, A. M. Mellander, of Jehovah's Witnesses, Kingdom Hall, South Unit, officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.  She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
