SOUTH BEND - Jean B. Uldin, 88, of South Bend, passed away
Thursday, January 10, 200, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center,
South Bend. She was born on August 11, 1919, in Winamac to the
late Eugene and Della (Overmyer) Prince.
On August 10, 1944 in Paris, Texas she
married the love of her life, Kenneth J. Uldin. He preceded her
in death on August 1, 1991. Also preceding her in death were her
sister, Marjorie Prince; and two brothers, Donald and Charles
Prince. Jean was a member of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church. On
Wednesdays she would get together with her friends at Howard Park
and play cards. Jean is survived by her loving family, her two
daughters, Sandra Verhoestra and her husband, Bob, of
South Bend, and Kay Klingler and her husband, Ray, of
Michigan City; two step-grandchildren; and six
step-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with her family on Sunday,
January 13 from 2 until 6 p.m. in the Welsheimer Family Funeral
Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd. South Bend. Funeral service will
be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev.
James Miller officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley
Memorial Park, Granger. In loving memory of Jean, memorial
