Millicent B. Tyler
Millicent B. Tyler, 92, of 50505 U.S. 33 N., died at 10:14 am today in her home after a brief illness. She was former owner of Madison Beauty Shop for 20 years and former owner of the Indiana Cafe from 1951 to 1958. Born Dec. 31, 1891, in New Carlisle, she lived in the South Bend area most of her life. As Millicent Wiltfong, in South Bend, in 1951, she married Herman Tyler. He proceeded her in death. She is survived by a sister, Mary Wiegand of South Bend and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 am Wednesday in the Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday in the funeral home. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.
