South Bend, IN - Rosa Theresa Tutino, 90, of East Madison Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 5:10 a.m. Thursday, March 25, in Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an illness.

She was born in Gioiosa, Ionica, Italy on Oct. 20, 1913, to the late Guiseppe Raffael and Marianna (Gallo) Ieraci.

She married Dominic Tutino on Oct. 03, 1947, in Italy. He passed away in 1972. They moved to South Bend in 1948.

Surviving is a daughter, Anna Tutino (Roman) Smith of South Bend; six grandchildren, Jennifer Robinson of Indianapolis, Ind., Michael Tutino of North Liberty, Ind., Ryan Miller of South Bend, Laura Smith, Joseph Smith and Rita Smith, all of South Bend; daughter-in-law, Janice Miller of South Bend. Other survivors include two sisters, Anna Gallo of Italy and Maria Murdocca of Australia; and a brother, Vincenzo Ieraci of Italy.

Mrs. Tutino was preceded by her son, Louis Tutino, who died in 1978.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today, Saturday, March 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Hill Street and LaSalle, with Rev. Michael Couhig, CSC, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Friends called from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in McGann Funeral Homes, University Area Chapel, 2313 E. Edison Road.
