SOUTH BEND - Rocco Tutino, 99, formerly of South 35^th Street, died Saturday morning in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was a retired cook for the University of Notre Dame South Dining Hall. He was born Dec. 5, 1891 in Giolosa Iooica, Calabria, Italy, and had lived in this area since 1911, coming from Italy.

On June 26, 1920, in South Bend, he married Dora Bowers. She died Oct. 28, 1973. Surviving are several nephews and nieces, including Anna Smith of South Bend.

Services will be at noon Tuesday in St. Anthony de Pauda Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Hickey Funeral Home.
