Mary M. Tuma

Oct. 8, 1920 - Feb. 17, 2000

Mary Matilda (Gillis) Tuma, 79, of St. Clair Shores, Mich., and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., died in the Bon Secours Nursing Home on Wednesday, Feb. 17.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 21 in the Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Mary was born on Oct. 8, 1920 in Mishawaka, Ind., the daughter of Harlan and Besse (Stone) Gillis.

Mrs. Tuma is survived by her son, James and Vicki Tuma of Charlotte, Mich.; her daughter, Sally (Henry) Ubik of Grosse Pointe, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
