The requiem high mass for Sister M. Berlinda Tuite CSC, of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, who died Monday in Saint Mary’s Convent after a long illness, was offered at 6 a.m. today in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto on the campus of St. Mary’s College. Burial was in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus.

She was born Mary Margaret Tuite in 1886 in Broughton, Canada, and came to the United States in 1911 to enter the Sisters of the Holy Cross. She received the habit in 1911 and made her profession of vows in 1913. She was stationed at St. Mary’s until 1917, when she was assigned to the Western Province, where she remained until illness brought her retirement. She came to St. Mary’s Convent in 1963.
