Robert L. Tschida (Nov. 7, 1925 -- Jan. 21, 2007)

VALPARAISO -- Robert L. Tschida, 81, of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, Jan. 21.

He was born Nov. 7, 1925, in South Bend, to John and Isabelle (Bond) Tschida. He had been an auto mechanic and the owner of Bob's Sinclair Services Station in South Bend prior to moving to Valparaiso in 1979.

Survivors include four children, Jeff (Lisa) Tschida of Hanna, Amy (Bill) Selsor of Hebron, Scott (Tammy) Tschida of Westville and Randy (Pam) Tschida of Valparaiso; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a sister, Dorothy Tschida.

Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, a memorial service will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. CST in Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso, with Bishop Ronald Goble officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. CST Thursday.
