Mrs. Katherine Tschida, aged 60, of 919 West Monroe street, died at 10:10 p.m. Saturday in her residence after six months illness. She was born in Volinia, Mich., June 12, 1889, and came here 43 years ago. She was married here in 1909 to Stephen M. Tschida, who survives. She leaves a son, Lawrence; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Weinzetl and Mrs. Richard Lanen <Langel>, and three grandchildren, all of South Bend, and three brothers, Arthur Engle, of Niles, Mich., and George and Ben Engle of Cassopolis, Mich. She was a member of the Alter society of St. Mary's Catholic church. Friends may call in the residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Tschida, 919 West Monroe street, who died Saturday, were conducted this morning in St. Mary's Catholic church by Rev. Frank C. Brown. Burial was in Highland cemetery. The name of a daughter, Mrs. Richard Langel of South Bend, was listed previously as Mrs. Richard Lanel.
