Joseph E. Trzop, Jr., 75, of Edwardsburg, Mich., passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, in his home. He was born on Feb. 6, 1924, in South Bend and he lived in Edwardsburg for 16 years, coming from South Bend. He retired from the Interstate Bakery. He was a member of the American Legion Pulaski Post #357 in South Bend and the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edwardsburg.

Mr. Trzop was married on Sept. 11, 1948, in South Bend, to Louise Wozniak, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Kathy (Ronald) Dickeson of Edwardsburg; a son, Joseph E. (Linda) Trzop III, of Edwardsburg; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Helen Zakrzewski of South Bend; and by a brother, Casimir Trzop of Niles, Mich. He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Trzop; and by a sister, Marie Nawrocki.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
