GRANGER - Mildred E. Ruth Truran, 79, of County Road 2, died in her home of an apparent heart attack. Mrs. Truran retired from St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, where she worked as a ward clerk. She was born July 11, 1916, in McKeesport, Pa.

In 1981, in Emlenton, Pa., she married Raymond Truran. He preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Chancey of Florida; three sons, Grant Ruth and Robert Ruth, both of Mishawaka, and Dean M. Ruth of Granger; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lois Douglas, Sue Turnbull and Carolyn Lynn, all of Ligonier, Pa.
