John P. Truckowski

MISHAWAKA - John P. Truckowski, 66, of Bottineau, N.D., formerly of Mishawaka, died March 6 in Bottineau Hospital after an illness. Mr. Truckowski retired in 1977 from William Lager Jewel Plant, Rolla, N.D., and was an employee of the former Armstrong Floral, Mishawaka. He was born March 27, 1927, in Mishawaka, and lived in Mishawaka until 1953.

On May 27, 1949, he married Hazel Carlson. She survives with a daughter, Paulette Cote of Missoula, Mont.; three sons, Richard of Rayville, Mo., John Jr. of Bottineau, and Tony of Wausau, Wis.; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Jen Claeys and Ann Signorino, both of South Bend, and Emelda Bultinck of Mishawaka. He was a Navy veteran.

Services were March 10 in St. Mark's Catholic Church, Bottineau. Burial was in Oak Creek Cemetery, Bottineau. Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau, handled arrangements.
