MRS TROK DIES IN HOSPITAL AT AGE OF 101

Mrs. Elizabeth M. Trok, 101, who resided with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Trok at 1038 N. College, died at 11:15pm Tuesday in St Joseph’s Medical Center.  She had been ill for the past two weeks.

She was a former Wilson Brothers employee.  She was born on May 22, 1881, in Poland and lived in South Bend for 98 years, coming from Poland.  On October 12, 1908, as Elizabeth M. Kapalczynski, she married Walter Trok who died July 1, 1956.  She is survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 10am Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, with Rev. James Trepanier CSC, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home where the parish rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Friday.  She was a member of St Joseph Society Group 65 and the Apostleship of Prayer at St Stanislaus Catholic Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church.
