Steven C. Trippel, 41, formerly of Mishawaka IN, passed away after a lengthy illness at 12:12pm on Friday, February 18, in the Marion General Hospital, Marion IN.

Steven was born on April 29, 1958, in Mishawaka to Thomas and Helen (Kotal) Trippel, who survive.

He is also survived by six sisters, Ann Marie (Patrick) Watts of Gastonia NC, Katherine (Howard) Davis of Bedford IN, Christine (Daniel) McGrew of Olney MD, Carol (Terry) Walker and Julia (Mike) Neland, both of South Bend, and Barbara (Thomas) Obren of Mishawaka; a brother, Phillip (Susan) Trippel of Wakarusa IN; and by nine nieces, six nephews and two great nieces.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, February 22, in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 3:30pm

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, February 23, in St Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Fr. Joseph Jacobs officiating.  Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola IN.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to St Joseph Church, Mishawaka.
