Dorothy Mae Trippel

September 3, 1915 – October 19, 1995

MISHAWAKA – Dorothy Mae Trippel, 80, of East Jefferson Street, died at approximately 7pm Thursday in her home after an illness.  Mrs. Trippel was born September 3, 1915, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong resident.  On April 27, 1939, in Mishawaka, as Dorothy Mae Foerester, she married Fred Trippel Jr.  He died April 14, 1981.  Surviving are three sons, John of Osceola, Fred of Schereville IN, and Robert of Humble TX; nine grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary VanDamme and Jacqueline Carter, both of Haines City FL and Marjorie Rowe of South Bend.

Services will be at 10am Monday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home.  Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum, South Bend.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday in the funeral home.
