SOUTH BEND - George Charles Tridle, 85, of 2050 Beverly Place, died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Care Center West. Mr. Tridle was a retired butcher. He was born July 28, 1910, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident.
On Jan. 1, 1936, in South Bend, he marred Helen J. Doty. She survives with a daughter, Terry Davidson of Huntington Beach, Calif. A grandson, Todd Davidson, died Nov. 10, 1990. He was a member of Epworth Memorial United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
