Sister Mary Eucheria Tower CSC

Sister Mary Eucheria, CSC, whose worldly name was Ellen Tower, who died at St. Mary’s hospital Monday, aged 65 years was buried yesterday. Funeral services were held at 4 o’clock, Rev. Father Hagerty, officiating. Burial took place in the St. Mary’s community cemetery.

Sister Eucheria came to this country in 1877 from Ireland and began missionary work in the west. Fifteen years ago, her health failing her, she came to St. Mary’s academy, where she has been ever since. She is survived by one brother, Rev. Father Tower of California
