SOUTH BEND - Mary Cecilie Toth, 92, of Meridian Nursing Center-Eastlake, Elkhart, formerly of 923 S. Emerson St., died at 12:25 a.m. Thursday in the nursing home. Miss Toth retired in 1964 from Uniroyal Plastics Co., Mishawaka, after 24 years of service. She was born June 9, 1901, in Budapest, Hungary, and had lived in South Bend since 1917, coming from New York City.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Nancy and John Neff of Elkhart and Suzanne and Brian McCay of Granger. She was a member of St. Therese's Society and St. Stephen's Catholic Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County or Center for the Homeless.
