SOUTH BEND - Rachel Torres, 60, died at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday in Weslaco, Texas. She is survived by three children, Naomi (Torres) Amaya, Jorge Torres and Gonzalo Torres Jr.; her mother, Raquel Garcia; and two sisters, Rosa Trevino and Margarita Garcia. She remains in our hearts as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and godmother, and will be greatly missed. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. in St. Mary's Polish National Church, located at 1601 W. Sample St. in South Bend.
