SOUTH BEND - Services for Christy R. Tirotta, 90, of Burdette Street, who died at 5:50 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of an apparent heart attack, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where a rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Mr. Tirotta retired from the South Bend Street Department in 1975 after 31 years of service and the South Bend YMCA after 34 years. He also served in the Sheriff's Department for eight years.
He was born Oct. 16, 1904, in Steubenville, Ohio.
On July 1, 1974, in South Bend, he married Rita C. Warren. She died Jan. 29, 1992.
Surviving are four daughters, Julia Orisich, Tina Cesavice and Betty Smith, all of South Bend, and Theresa Parisey of Mishawaka; two sons, Albert of Granger and Frank F. of South Bend; 33 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ethel Focosi of South Bend. He was a member of the church, South Bend Democratic Club and UAW Local 5. (nf)
