GRANGER - Orvall Tindall's life began January 29, 1922, in New
Castle, Indiana. He was the son of the late William F. and Ada
(Botkin) Tindall. On June 15, 1951, in South Bend, Indiana, he
married Jacqueline Brunson. He is survived by his wife along with
his three children, Gary of Granger, June (Don) Wantuch and
Steven Tindall of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth
(Scott) Baker, Amanda (Jeremy) Brown, and Katie Wantuch, Kristi
(Brian) Kizer, Jennifer, Jamie and Cecilia Tindall; two
great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Anderw Baker; two brothers,
William in Connecticut and Harold in California. Orvall was also
preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene and Donald Tindall; and
by his sisters, Virginia Kush and Mary Dell Gerdes. Orvall was a
veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army
as a medic. He was employed at Fuller O'Brien paint factory in
South Bend for 48 years. Orvall enjoyed spending time with his
family, and enjoyed many family vacations. He was an avid Civil
War historian, traveling to many battlefields. He enjoyed
reading, crossword puzzles, playing pool, and bridge. He loved
chocolate, too! There will be no visitation. A private memorial
service will be held at a later date. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS,
contributions may be made in Orvall's name to the American
Cancer Society or to the Gettysburg National Historic
Battlefield. Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, is handling
arrangements.
