Marjorie Doolittle Thurn

July 30, 1905 – March 20, 1985

Marjorie Doolittle Thurn, 79, formerly of 2030 Hollywood Place, died at 10:35am Wednesday in Cardinal Health Care Center.  She formerly was employed by the Indiana Toll Road Commission.

Born July 30, 1905, in St. Joseph County, she was a lifetime area resident.  On April 14, 1935, in Chicago, she married George O. Thurn, who died in 1974.  She is survived by several cousins.

Services will be at 10am Saturday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. Williams St., where friends may call from 2 to 4pm Friday.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.  She was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Scholarship Fund or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
