Victoria L. Thorla, 52, of South 29th Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away following an illness at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, South Bend. She was born on May 6, 1946, to Harold and Virginia Smith in Rochester, Ind. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Smith of Mishawaka, Ind., and by her son, Jody Thorla of South Bend. She volunteered her services for the Nancy Drew Company of Chicago and loved crafts. She was also a graduate of Mishawaka High School.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 3, at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka. Memorial services will be at a later date.
