SOUTH BEND - Lois Celine Thompson, 54, unexpectedly passed away
in her home on Wednesday evening, May 5, 2010. Lois was born on
November 13, 1955, in South Bend, to the late Waymen and Dolores
(Wendzonka) Moran. Along with her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband, Terry Lee Thompson. She joins them now in
heaven together with her Aunt Annette, her niece, Melissa, and
her brother-in-law, Mickey Thompson. She will be greatly missed
by all who love her. Surviving are her two sons, Anthony (Amy)
Thompson of South Bend and Erik (Dawn) Thompson of Mishawaka; her
five grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Mamaw,"
Devante, Cage, Dylan, Liam and Elizabeth; two sisters, Margaret
Booker of Mishawaka and Anne (Jerry) Clegg of Colt, Ark.; her
nephews, Rob, Jesse and Matthew; nieces, Amy, Cara and Tonia;
great-nieces and nephews, Heather, Hayley, Tyler, Hannah, Brett,
Ashley, Morgan, Taylor and Randy; and her lifelong best friend,
Dana Spaid. During her life, Lois demonstrated her devotion and
faith to God through her service and care for the elderly. She
will be remembered for her great compassion and selfless
generosity to those in need. Friends may visit with family at 3
p.m. Saturday at Lois home, 2020 High St., South Bend.
