Leon Thomas

October 3, 1869 - May 13, 1951

Leon Thomas died at 6am Sunday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph N. Talboom, 3413 West Sample Street, after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.  He was born in Westdorpe Holland, October 3, 1869, and came here forty-five years ago from Holland.  He was married there in 1894 to Leonie M. Lammens, who died ten months ago.

Surviving besides the daughter are three sons, Gaston, Florent and Michel, all of South Bend, and four brothers in Holland.  Friends may call in the DeVos chapel in Mishawaka until the funeral there at 2pm Tuesday.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
