August Thallemer

Mishawaka - August Thallemer, age 57, lifelong resident of Mishawaka. died Sunday morning at 1:30 o’clock in St. Joseph Hospital following a stroke of apoplexy suffered four weeks ago. His home was at 1208 North Main Street.

He was born in this city Oct. 14, 1871.

Surviving him are two sisters, and one brother, Sister Gertrude of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Chicago; Rose of Mishawaka; and George, also of Mishawaka.

He was employed in the Mishawaka Rubber and Woolen Manufacturing Company until the time of his illness, and was a member of St. Monica’s Church, and of the Holy Name Society.

The body may be viewed in the residence of George Thallemer, 310 West Battell Street, until the time of the funeral, which will be Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock in St. Monica’s Catholic Church.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
