Mishawka - Alfred J. Thallemer, 78, of 310 W. Battell, died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday in Three Rivers Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born April 15, 1901 in Mishawaka, he had lived here all his life. He retired from the Dodge Division of Reliance Electric Co. in 1967.
On May 28, 1942, In St. Joseph Church, he married Henrietta Doll. She survives with a daughter, Mary C. at home.
Friends may call from 2 to p.m. Tuesday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Rev Thaddeus Kwak, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
He was a member of St. Monica’s parish and the Dodge Quarter Century Club.
