Garry R. Tetzlaff, 53, of South Bend,
Ind., passed away from natural causes on Friday, May 14, in
Greenville, Ohio. Garry was the owner and operator of G.R.T.
Transport Company in South Bend. He was also a Vietnam veteran
with the United States Marine Corps, and was a member of the
Maennerchor Club of South Bend. Garry was born on Jan. 1, 1946,
in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
On Feb. 26, 1966, in South Bend, he married
Karyl Buck, who survives. He is also survived by a
daughter, Marnie Tetzlaff of New York City, N.Y.; his parents,
Arthur and Leone (Rohleder) Tetzlaff of South Bend; and by
a brother, Arthur Tetzlaff of Stevensville, Mich.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. James Iliff, pastor of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, South Bend, will officiate. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, in the Palmer Funeral Home.
