Sister M. Beatus CSC, 84, diied in St. Mary’s Convent this morning. She was born Oct. 20, 1887 in Milwaukee as Teresa Helen Retseck and entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s on Mar. 28, 1910 and made her profession of vows on Aug. 15, 1912. She graduated from St. Alphonsus Hospital School of Nursing in Boise, Idaho in 1918, and was assigned to hospitals in Anderson, Idaho, Californis and Salt Lake City. She had resided at St. Mary’s Convent since 1956

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Loretto Church with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call today and until services, in the convent parlors, where a rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. today.
