SOUTH BEND - Rev. Lloyd W. Teske, 84, CSC, of Holy Cross House, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday in his residence. Rev. Teske was born Sept. 9, 1911, in Merrill, Wis.
He entered St. Joseph's Novitiate and entered his first vows Aug. 16, 1934; pronounced perpetual vows June 24, 1938; and was ordained June 15, 1941. He was a former assistant editor of Ave Maria Magazine; and a faculty member of Columbia Preparatory School, Portland, Ore., King's College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., the University of Portland and Notre Dame.
He is survived by two sisters, Elaine of Merrill and Margaret of Redondo, Beach, Fla.; and two brothers, John of Palos Verdes, Calif., and Alden of Boise, Idaho. He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Holy Cross College, Washington, D.C.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial will be in Community Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. today in Moreau Seminary, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
