Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel,
3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where a Trisagion service will be

Mishawaka, daughter of Frank and Helen (Tourlis) Magrames. She
"grew up" in the Candy Kitchen on N. Main Street in
Mishawaka, which her parents operated in the 1940s through 1960s.
Bertha graduated from Mishawaka High School and attended Indiana
University, Bloomington. She worked over 30 years in the payroll
department of Dodge Manufacturing. She was a lifelong member of
St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church and Gaia Chapter #60 of the
Daughters of Penelope. She married Kosta Kapatanakes in 1954, and
later John Terry Sr. Surviving are four children and their
families, Mantea and Jack Schmid of Dubuque, Iowa, Helene and
Paul McCormick of Mishawaka, Louis Frank Kapatanakes of South
Bend, John and Tammy (Patillo) Terry of South Bend. Also
surviving are five grandchildren who were especially dear to
Bertha, Paul J. McCormick (fiancé, Lindsey Allison) and Anthea
McCormick, John and Alex Schmid, and Cameron Terry. She is also
survived by a brother and sister-in-law, John and Angela
Magrames, and their children, Michael and Laura Magrames,
Christopher Magrames, Kristina and Rich Borkowski; and a nephew
and his wife, Pete and Vanessa Morphis. Her parents and sister,
Mantea Magrames Morphis, preceded her in death. Bertha loved to
spend time with family and friends. She was an animated
conversationalist and made friends easily. Bertha was fun to be
around. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew
Greek Orthodox Church or to Hospice. The family would like to
thank the supportive staff of the Sanctuary at St. Paul's.
