MISHAWAKA - DeEtta M. Tengelitsch, 67, of Orogrande, NM, passed away, Friday, March 5, 2010 in Alamogordo. She was born October 21, 1942 in Mishawaka, IN to John and Mavis (Guard) Steinhagen. She enjoyed Bingo and her grandchildren, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David Tengelitsch; two grandchildren, Cynthia and Kristie her parents and her father-in-law, Albert F. Tengelitsch. She is survived by her husband, Albert E. Tengelitsch, Sr.; three children, Albert E. Tengelitsch, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Elkhart, IN, Michael Tengelitsch and wife Kym of Alamogordo and daughter, Diane Tengelitsch and special friend Ralph Luna of Alamogordo; daughter-in-law, Kim Tengelitsch of South Bend, IN; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Darrel Steinhagen of Mishawaka, IN; a sister, Jyll Pollock of Niles, MI and mother-in-law, Eleanor Tengelitsch. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Alamogordo Funeral Home. The Tengelitsch family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place locally at PCS.
