May 5, 1906 - April 27, 2010LAKEVILLE - Opal O. Taylor, 103, of Lakeville, IN, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa. She was born on May 5, 1906, in Lakeville, IN, to Elmer and Blanche (Good) Taylor. Miss Taylor is survived by many nieces and nephews including Jack (Jean) Taylor of Lakeville, IN, Russell (Peg) Taylor of Lakeville, IN, Robert (Marguerite) Taylor of Lakeville, IN, and Kenneth (Thelma) Taylor of Cassopolis, MI. Two sisters, Hazel and Betty Taylor, and five brothers, Noble, John, Ivan, Leo and Lyle Taylor, preceded her in death. Miss Taylor was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1928 graduate of Epworth Nursing School and a member of the Memorial Alumni Association. She was private duty registered nurse for 47 years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St., Lakeville, IN. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
