Mrs. John Lentz, of East Seventh Street, Mishawaka, received word of the death of her brother, John Tavernier, at a hospital in Elkhart at 6 p.m. Wednesday. He formerly resided in this city, but moved to Elkhart three years ago. He was 48 years of age and leaves a wife and four children. The funeral will be announced later. Edward Tavernier, of this city is a brother of the deceased. Mr. Tavernier was a carpenter and worked for the Lake Shore Railroad Company. About 10 days ago he sustained injuries in a fall which resulted in his death.
