Lucia C. Tartaglia, 83, of Ironstone Drive, formerly of Romania, died on Wednesday evening, Nov. 24 in Hospice House. Lucia was born on December 30, 1915 in Bucharest, Romania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Tartaglia.

She is survived by two nephews, Cornell (Ileana) Diceanu of South Bend, Ind. and Dan (Florica) Diceanu of Toronto, Canada; five grandnephews, Daniel (Cloudette) Diceanu, Lawrence Diceanu, Paul (Violeta) Diceanu, Alex Diceanu and Filip Diceanu; a great-grandnephew, Zachary Diceanu; and a great-grandniece, Bryanna Diceanu.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 29, in the HICKEY Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, with Father Adrian Fetea of the Romania Orthodox Church, Merrillville, Ind., officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services on Monday in the HICKEY Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road.
