Mrs. Tarr was a homemaker and a member of
Our Lady of Hungary Roman Catholic Church.
Betty is survived by a daughter, Judy R.
(Frank) Mattei of Osceola, Ind.; and a son, Alexander P. Tarr of
Scottsdale, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Deb (Kevin) Kolber and Russ
(Tisha) Mattei, both of South Bend; three great-grandchildren,
Nicholas Kolber, Kory Kolber and Ashleigh Mattei. Also surviving
are two sisters, Mary Blankert and Theresa Kosik, both of
and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Tarr was preceded in death by her
loving husband, Joseph; a sister, Helen Nagy; and by five
brothers, Geza Szucs, Alex Szucs, Dale Szucs, Julius Szucs, and
Steve Szucs.
Betty was a warm, caring and loving wife,
mother and grandmother. She always placed her family first. She
loved and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was an avid baker who loved to cook and entertain her family.
She will be sadly missed by her loving
family and all who knew her.
