Mrs. Max Tanner

May 15, 1904 – April 14, 1961

Mrs. Jennie Tanner, 55, of 1415 McKinley Ave., died in St Joseph’s Hospital at 5:30pm Friday.  She had been ill a year.  Born in Vienna, Austria, on May 15, 1904, she came to South Bend from there.  She was married to Max Tanner in Vienna.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. John Grunwald of Edinburg, IN, and a brother, Bernard Opperman of South Bend.

Services will be held at 4pm Sunday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home with Rabbi Maurice Parzen of Sinai Synagogue officiating.  Burial will be in the Hebrew orthodox Cemetery in Mishawaka.
