SOUTH BEND – Dorothy M. Talbot, 95, of New Port Richey FL, formerly of South Bend, died

Sunday, April 22, at home.  She had lived in Florida since 1996.

She was born June 10, 1911, in South Bend, to Harold and Irene (Dobson) Tubbs who preceded her in death along with her husband, Joseph, who died in 1964; a daughter, Judy Obriant who died February 2006; and a daughter-in-law, Jean Talbot.  Surviving are a son, Michael of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren 18 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren

Services will be held at 10am Monday April 30 in the Hickey Funeral Homes, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend.  Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.  There is no visitation.  Dorothy was a registered nurse in the South Bend area for 45 years, retiring from the Visiting Nurses Association and a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, South Bend.  Memorials for Dorothy may be made to Visiting Nurse Association, PO Box 5006, Mishawaka IN 46546-5006.
