SOUTH BEND -- Walter H. Szlanfucht, 71, of East Dubail Street, died Monday in his home.

Survivors include his wife, J. Pauline; a son, Jack L. of South Bend; six brothers, Jack of Indiana, Ronald of Florida, Stanley of New York, Harold and Carl, both of Niles, and Frances of South Bend; and two stepbrothers, Larry Peak of South Bend and William M. Peak of South Carolina.
