Mary Szlafrak   Sister M. Lawrence, 79, a former South Bend resident, died Tuesday in Methodist Hospital, Philadelphia. She was born in South Bend, as Mary Szlafrak, on July 15, 1892. She entered the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth on Aug. 15, 1910. She taught for many years in the East. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Veronica Neddo and Mrs. Harriet Miller, both of South Bend, and Miss. Mary Anne Szlafrak, of Westbury, N. Y. Funeral services ill be held in Philadelphia Thursday, with burial also in that City. Sister Lawrence had resided in the Nazareth Convent Infirmary prior to her death
