Edward Szlafrak, 59, of 2319 W. 6^th St. Mishawaka, formerly of South Bend resident, died today in Memorial Hospital after a two months illness.  He was born on Oct 15, 1908, in South Bend,  In 1957, he married Lois Jacobs, who survives.  Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. William Miller of South Bend, Verna Neddo of Decatur, MI; Sister Laurence of Philadelphia and Miss Val Szlafrak of Westbury, NY.  Friends may call today in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home where services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Mr. Szlafrak was an employee of the Lincoln Cleaners, Mishawaka.
