SOUTH BEND - Margaret A. Szajko, 87, of Crown Point, formerly of South Bend, died at 5:15 p.m. Thursday in St. Anthony's Nursing Home. Mrs. Szajko had been a bookkeeper for Rembrandt Lamp Co., Chicago. She was born Oct. 24, 1908, in Stanley, Wis.

On June 2, 1963, in Chicago, she married Edward M. Szajko. He died Oct. 27, 1993. Surviving are a niece, Margaret McKenzie of Donna, Texas, and several great nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church and St. Robert's Catholic Church, Chicago.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
