MISHAWAKA - Julia Szabo, 98, of 715 E. Fifth St., died at 1:40 p.m. Dec. 24 in Greensprings Manor, South Bend. Mrs. Szabo was a former employee of Ball Band Co. She was born May 9, 1897, in Hungary.

In 1915, in Mishawaka, as Julia Horvath, she married Stephen Szabo. He died in 1941. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Allen of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and a son, Julius of Mishawaka.

There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Bubb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
