Helen P. Szabo

April 21, 1919 – March 18, 1993

Helen P. Szabo, 73, of 409 S Laurel St., died at 1:35am today in St Joseph’s Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness.  Mrs. Szabo retired from Bendix Corp after 30 years of service.

She was born April 21, 1919, in Superior WI, and lived in Mishawaka for 53 years, coming from Superior.  On May 30, 1940, in Superior as Helen P. Burbul, she married Julius J. Szabo.  He survives with a daughter, Joan Ferrero of Chicopee MA; and two sisters, Sister Ann of Sylvania OH and Vicky Reed of Superior.

Services for Helen P. Szabo, 73, of 409 S. Laurel St., who died at 1:35am Thursday in St Joseph’s Medical Center, will be at 2pm Saturday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6 to 8pm today in the funeral home.
