Mrs. Clara M. (Reiter) Szabo: (South Bend Tribune 1/1/1960)

Mrs. Clara M. Szabo, 50, of 1821 S. Kendall St., died at 3:25 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph’s Hospital. She had been ill for three months. She was born in South Bend Aug. 4, 1909 and had lived here all her life. On Oct. 5, 1940, she married Peter S. Szabo, Jr., he survives. A son, Richard, at home, also survives, along with two sisters, Mrs. Martha Bonek and Mrs. Anna Vargo, and two brothers, Stanley and Joseph Reiter, all of South Bend. Friends may call in the Zahoran Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday. Arrangements are not complete. St. Anne’s Society of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church will recite the rosary in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Sunday.
