Elizabeth Bumford Syson, although her obituary states she is survived by her husband, that may be in error as Reuben Syson died in 1894, however, she may have remarried.

Elizabeth Syson
    Elizabeth, wife of Reuben Syson, of
934 Vistula avenue, died Wednesday
evening at 5:30 o'clock after an ill-
ness of one year. She was 76 years of
age and an old resident of South Bend.
Besides the husband, she is survived by
six sons, Henry, Reuben, Alfred, Samuel,
and Benjamin of this city and
Frank, of Niantic, Ill.
